DRBD is what Heartbeat and Pacemaker use for high availability server setups. It must be running to ensure that the non-active servers take over.

Conf file: /etc/drbd.conf

Basic Commands

View which role the current server currently has: 

drbd-overview

View what DRBD is currently doing: 

watch -n5 cat /proc/drbd
